Someone tagged me as "vigilante builder," and it's stuck.

The issue with the current compliance system is that it is extremely focused on patching holes in a boat logic. It doesn't have ANY consideration for change, jut add more. It's the reason that homes have become so expensive. Materials that are not needed are being applied to appease a system fixated on keeping afloat. Unfortunately, there are still a lot of failures in the traditional construction field, but the biggest failure of all is not learning from our mistakes. At some point people will have to realize we are following a method older than cars and simply trying to modernize it instead of redesigning from the ground up.

I
